When we were ready to launch our local food store concept, we wanted to juxtapose the fresh new idea into the third generation legacy of our honey business.  It was important for the new brand to clearly show a connection with the existing business while standing alone and creating its own buzz.  The branding needed to be appealing not only to local consumers but also to local producers who wanted to sell their wares.  We also felt it was important for the brand to work equally well in print as it would online.

This daunting task was made possible by Evolving Media.  After excitedly describing our vision to Jeff, he came up with the concept, worked with us on some refinements, and produced a number of digital versions that were easy for us to integrate into our materials.  As a final touch, Evolving Media designed and produced two beautiful large aluminum signs that proudly stood in front of the store.

Working with Evolving Media was, in a word, easy.  Jeff’s experience and insight navigated us through the important but sometimes nerve-wracking process of communicating our business in a single image.  His confidence and friendly demeanour made the journey much less stressful and in the end we were very pleased with the results.

The Georgian House opened its doors in 1987.

In 1999 we worked on extension plans for the restaurant that included a sixty seat dining room and a 1000 square foot Day Spa facility. This new project required a full marketing plan with new branding of the Georgian House.

We hired Jeff Poissant from Evolving Media who helped us achieve our goals to our complete satisfaction and he is still fully involved in updating/ renewing promotional material for the Georgian House Restaurant and Day Spa, eighteen years later.

I first met Jeff Poissant of Evolving Media in 2008 at the Georgian House Restaurant & Day Spa in Alexandria, Ontario. At the time Jeff was looking for a composer, arranger to write and synchronize music for a simple promotional video he was creating for the restaurant. I then introduced myself and within a few weeks the video was complete with synchronized music. All parties were very satisfied with the results. The team worked.

We were and are involved in many charitable events including Terry Fox, Alzheimer’s, M.S. and Glengarry Trails. Jeff’s main role was as the photographer, other work included design of posters, and producing videos and designing brand ideas such as “Stop the Cancer Cycle, Wobbly Walker Walk-a-thon and more.

I commissioned Jeff of Evolving Media to design and maintain our website, LaPlumeModerne2.com, and create posters and promotional material for the Fifth Day Suite. The Fifth Day Suite was premiered at the Toronto Centre for the Arts, by the Toronto Philharmonia, conducted by Kerry Stratton on May 10th, 2010. Following the premiere Jeff designed a new logo, promotional material, and website for Synergy of Five. The five key players in a new theatrical work.

More recently Jeff has created videos, images and animated designs for our first multi media productions; Participation’s Music Hall Theatre Productions and Fifth Day Suite, Son et Lumiére.
