A Timeless Recruitment and Museum Promotion Campaign – Designed in 2000, Still in Use Today

Sometimes the best way to see what we can do today is to look at what we accomplished and delivered yesterday.

About the Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa

Formed in 1856, the Camerons are Ottawa’s senior reserve infantry regiment and carry the secondary title “Duke of Edinburgh’s Own”. They are the only Ottawa unit to storm the beaches on D-Day, and members have served Canada in every conflict from the North-West Rebellion to Afghanistan. Their motto — the same as the City of Ottawa — is simply: ADVANCE.

Why This Project Still Matters in 2025
In an age of fleeting digital trends, a well-crafted print piece that remains in active service a quarter-century later is rare. This project is a testament to thoughtful strategy, meticulous craftsmanship, and design that respects both tradition and audience.

At Evolving Media & Design Inc., we’ve been creating work that lasts since 1997 — whether it’s print that refuses to retire, or digital experiences built for tomorrow.
